In a joint op-ed in the Financial Times, the spy chiefs reiterated their commitment to countering Russian aggression and advancing U.S.-UK strategic collaboration.
The joint statement marks the first time heads of these premier intelligence agencies have co-authored an op-ed. They highlighted the 'special relationship' and long-standing partnership between the U.S. and UK intelligence services, pivotal in addressing global challenges.
The leaders also pointed to their efforts in addressing China's rise, Middle East conflicts, and thwarting Russian sabotage and disinformation campaigns. They emphasized cooperation to achieve de-escalation in the Gaza conflict and tackled broader geopolitical threats.
