Kentucky State Trooper Scottie Pennington echoed these warnings on Facebook, confirming that the suspect remains at large and advising people to stay inside for safety.

Governor Andy Beshear also addressed the situation on social media, stating, "We are aware of a shooting on I-75 in Laurel County. Please avoid the area. We will provide more details once they are available." He called on the community to pray for all affected. London, with a population of about 8,000, is located approximately 100 miles northwest of the state capital, Frankfort.
