Bihar's Major Bureaucratic Reshuffle Sees 41 IAS Officers Transferred

In a significant bureaucratic reshuffle in Bihar, 41 IAS officers, predominantly district magistrates, were transferred to different departments. Bhojpur DM Raj Kumar has been appointed as the managing director of Bihar State Cooperative Milk Producers Federation (COMFED).
Sheohar DM Pankaj Kumar has now been named director of primary education in the Education Department, according to a notification issued late Saturday by the General Administration Department.
Other notable transfers include Mohd Nayyar Iqbal, director in the Mines and Geology Department, moving to the Food and Consumer Protection Department as special secretary, and Jamui DM Rakesh Kumar being appointed director (chakbandi) in the Directorate of Land Records and Survey.
