State Minister Kirodi Lal Meena is pushing for a CBI inquiry into the 2018 and 2021 Rajasthan Administrative Service exams, suggesting irregularities involving three former chairpersons of the public service commission.
Meena met Shikhar Agarwal, the additional chief secretary to the chief minister, to demand an investigation into the roles of Deepak Upreti, Shiv Singh Rathore, and Sanjay Kumar Shrotriya.
Meena stated that a fair probe would reveal that some candidates received examination papers before the exam date. Though the Special Operations Group (SOG) is currently investigating the paper leak case, Meena expressed a preference for a CBI investigation.
