The complainant faced an abrupt disconnection of his mobile services and was unable to use international roaming data while visiting Zimbabwe, leading to substantial inconvenience and financial burden.
Vodafone Idea was found guilty of service deficiency after failing to inform the complainant about roaming charges and arbitrarily cutting off the service, resulting in a bill of Rs 86,290.
