Woman Found Dead, Family Suspects Dowry-Related Murder

A woman named Kalpana Mishra, aged 22, was found dead at her home. Her family suspects her in-laws, who have been harassing her for dowry, as the culprits. An FIR has been lodged against her husband and in-laws, who are now absconding. The police investigation is ongoing.

A 22-year-old woman, identified as Kalpana Mishra, was found dead at her residence on Tuesday morning, police sources revealed. The family alleges that her in-laws, who had been harassing her for dowry, murdered her.

According to her brother, Kuldeep Tiwari, Kalpana married Lavkush from Poore Mohanlal village in 2021. He claims that she had been continuously harassed by her in-laws for dowry.

The police have launched an investigation and are pursuing her husband, father-in-law, and mother-in-law, who are currently absconding. An FIR has been filed based on Tiwari's complaint and the body has been sent for post-mortem to determine the cause of death.
