Two Notorious Looters Arrested After Dramatic Aonla-Budaun Road Shootout

Two criminals, Majrul and Laeeq, were apprehended by police on the Aonla-Budaun road following an intense shootout. Both suspects were injured and are receiving treatment in stable condition. The duo had previously fatally shot jeweller Srikant Maratha during a robbery attempt. The search continues for a third suspect.

Two notorious criminals, Majrul and Laeeq, were apprehended following a dramatic shootout on the Aonla-Budaun road on Monday, police officials confirmed.

Both suspects sustained leg injuries in the early morning encounter, where they opened fire on a police team that had intercepted them, according to Additional Superintendent of Police (City) Manush Parik. They are currently in stable condition at a local hospital.

Majrul and Laeeq are accused of shooting jeweller Srikant Maratha during a robbery on September 19. Maratha succumbed to his injuries on September 24. The police are still searching for a third suspect linked to the crime.
