Businessman Vikram Singh Shot Dead in Broad Daylight

A 50-year-old businessman, Vikram Singh, was shot dead near the FCI godown in Gajraula at around 11 am on Monday. One person has been taken into custody, and further investigation is ongoing. Naresh Chaudhary of the Bhartiya Kisan Union warned of agitation against police inefficiency in Amroha.

In an alarming incident, Vikram Singh, a 50-year-old businessman, was shot dead in broad daylight near the Food Corporation of India (FCI) godown in Gajraula, police confirmed on Monday.

The incident occurred at around 11 am near the Industrial Police Chowki outpost. Singh, a resident of Mayapuri, was identified as the victim. Additional Superintendent of Police Rajiv Kumar Singh stated that one person has been taken into custody while the investigation continues.

Naresh Chaudhary, National President of the Bhartiya Kisan Union (Samyukta Morcha), criticized the police's failure to curb criminal activities in the Amroha district and warned of possible agitation if improvements in police functioning are not seen.
