25-Year-Old Man Found Dead in Mumbai Auto-Rickshaw

The body of a 25-year-old man involved in a POCSO case was found in a parked auto-rickshaw in Mumbai's Bhandup area on Tuesday, police reported.

Identified as Vijay Goud, the deceased's remains were spotted by residents of the Konkan Nagar locality early in the morning, prompting them to inform the police, an official stated. Initial investigations revealed no injury marks on Goud's body, leaving the exact cause of his death under scrutiny.

Authorities disclosed that Goud had three cases registered against him, including charges of voluntarily causing hurt under IPC section 324 and violations under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The police have filed an accidental death report and continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding his demise.
