A Delhi court on Tuesday sent Dharmender, the main accused in the killing of a Delhi Police constable, to two-day police custody.
The constable, Sandeep Malik, was allegedly run over by a car driven by Dharmender in the Nangloi area. Rajnish, who was also in the car, will be presented on October 3 after his three-day custody.
Police have argued that Dharmender's interrogation is necessary to confront him with Rajnish regarding the incident, which occurred after Malik had rebuked them for drinking on the road. Both are charged under the section of murder.
