Tragic Drowning Incident in Gomti River

A tragic incident unfolded on Tuesday afternoon as a 20-year-old man drowned in the Gomti River, according to the local police.
Officer Pradeep Kumar Singh from the Haliapur police station reported that Sunil Nishad, a resident from Rangwa Majra Fattepur, was swimming with friends when he lost his footing in deep water and drowned.
Rescue efforts ensued as divers tirelessly worked to recover Nishad's body. Following the recovery, the police dispatched the body for a post-mortem examination to understand the circumstances surrounding the drowning.
