Neighborhood Horror: Boy Assault Case in Dwarka Unfolds

A seven-year-old boy from Dwarka's Bindapur area was reportedly sexually assaulted by a neighbor, police disclosed Thursday. The distressing matter unraveled Wednesday evening when the child complained of rectal pain to his mother, prompting her to contact authorities.

At 9.29 PM, a PCR call led police to the scene, whereupon the child was promptly taken to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital for a medical examination. Doctors confirmed he had been sexually assaulted, triggering the registration of a case under section 6 of the POCSO Act and 351(2) of the BNS at Bindapur police station.

Efforts are underway to apprehend the accused. The boy's mother, whose statement has been recorded, alleged that a neighbor residing on rent in their building assaulted her son and exposed him to pornographic images. The child received medical treatment and counseling before being discharged.
