Intense Gunfight in Jammu: Two Terrorists and Army Dog Killed During Final Assault

Security forces in the Akhnoor sector of Jammu region launched an intense operation on Tuesday morning, resulting in the deaths of two terrorists who had been holed up in a village. The operation aimed to neutralize a third terrorist still hiding near Jogwan village.
The fresh gunfight followed a day of operations after the terrorists attacked an army convoy near the Line of Control. Special forces, NSG commandos, and advanced technology were deployed to manage the situation.
Amid multiple explosions and a protracted exchange of gunfire, a valiant four-year-old Army dog, Phantom, was tragically killed. The Army also used four BMP-II vehicles and aerial assets to strengthen their position and track the remaining militant.
