Haryana Government Conducts Major Police Reshuffle Amid Sexual Harassment Allegations
The Haryana government has executed a significant reshuffle of 28 IPS officers. This includes the transfer of an officer accused of sexual harassment. In addition, key changes include several officers being assigned new roles and others receiving additional responsibilities.

In a significant administrative move, the Haryana government has announced the transfer of 28 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers with immediate effect. Among these is an officer currently facing allegations of sexual harassment, as confirmed by a recent government order.
The reshuffle follows the Haryana Police's inquiry into accusations that surfaced on social media, involving a letter implicating an IPS officer in harassment allegations against female police personnel.
In addition to this, there have been notable changes in various districts. Alok Kumar Roy has been appointed as DG, Railways and Commando, Panchkula, while O P Singh continues his role at Haryana Police Housing Corporation after being promoted to DGP rank.
