Breakthrough in Baba Siddique Murder Case: Shooter Arrested

In a significant development, the Mumbai police announced the arrest of the shooter alongside two accomplices involved in the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique. The arrests took place in Uttar Pradesh as a result of a joint operation conducted with the Special Task Force (STF) of UP police, according to an official statement released on Sunday.
Siddique was tragically shot on October 12 by three attackers outside the office building of his son, MLA Zeeshan Siddique, in Bandra East. He sustained two gunshot wounds to his chest and, despite prompt medical attention at Lilavati hospital in Mumbai, succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.
The accused individuals are currently being transported to Mumbai, where they will face further legal proceedings and an investigation continues to uncover the motives behind this audacious crime.
