This recent arrest is part of a larger initiative which has seen ATS detain 43 Bangladeshis in December across 19 cases, a testament to their ongoing crackdown on illegal immigration.

Assisted by local police in Mumbai, Nashik, Nanded, and Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, the ATS has filed five cases under the Foreigners Act, citing that the accused obtained Aadhaar cards through forged documents.
