YSRCP Leader Arrested in Connection with TDP Office Attack

Andhra Pradesh Police arrested YSRCP leader Vallabhaneni Vamsi in Hyderabad over an attack on TDP's Gannavaram office. Vamsi was served an arrest notice by a senior officer and taken from his residence. He faces charges under various acts and is being moved to Vijayawada.

In a significant development, Andhra Pradesh Police apprehended Vallabhaneni Vamsi, a leader of the YSR Congress Party, in Hyderabad on Thursday. The arrest pertains to allegations in connection to an attack on the Telugu Desam Party's Gannavaram office during the YSRCP's previous governance period.

An official arrest notice was issued to Vamsi, a former Gannavaram MLA, by an officer of additional DCP rank. The arrest was made at a high-end apartment complex in Rayadurgam, Hyderabad.

Vamsi has been charged under multiple sections of BNS and the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. He is reportedly being transported to Vijayawada for further legal proceedings. The arrest marks a crucial phase in the ongoing investigation into the political clash.
