In the bustling streets of Patna, a tense standoff unfolded as unidentified assailants fired on a police team, leading to a tactical response in a crowded area, Senior Superintendent of Police Avakash Kumar informed the media.
The incident took place in the Ram Lakhan Path locality as law enforcement approached a residence following a complaint lodged regarding a property dispute. The SSP reported that although the police refrained from firing, the attackers discharged multiple rounds necessitating extra reinforcements including the Special Task Force.
Four individuals have been apprehended, with the police intensifying efforts to locate further suspects. The identity of those detained is pending interrogation results, and Kumar assured more information would emerge as the investigation progresses.
