The Delhi High Court has set March 6 as the date for hearing expelled BJP leader Kuldeep Sengar's appeal against his 10-year prison sentence in the case of the custodial death of the Unnao rape survivor's father.
Justice Vikas Mahajan approved the CBI counsel's request for a deferment, which faced no opposition from Sengar's legal team.
Sengar's appeal pertains to a previous conviction for raping a minor, for which he is serving a life sentence, while also contesting the court's judgment in the custodial death case.
