Jammu and Kashmir's Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, has reaffirmed his commitment to providing citizens with a transparent and accountable government focused on their needs. This promise was made during his address at a review meeting of the CM's Public Services and Outreach Office.

He mandated the appointment of Raabta Nodal Officers in each district to ensure swift and effective resolution of public concerns. Additionally, Abdullah pushed for a proactive approach to citizen engagement, emphasizing the importance of outreach via awareness campaigns, public sessions, and digital media.

In related developments, a delegation led by ex-IAS officer Khurshid Ahmad Ganai met Abdullah over concerns regarding proposed changes to the Unified Building Bye Laws. The Chief Minister assured them of a thorough review and consultation with all stakeholders before any changes are finalized.
