Vinay Modi Takes Charge: A New Era for Scheduled Caste Commission

Vinay Modi, a senior officer of the Himachal Pradesh Administrative Services, became the permanent Member Secretary of the Himachal Pradesh State Scheduled Caste Commission. Committed to transparency and effectiveness, his appointment aims to improve the commission's efficiency and ensure prompt complaint resolutions, replacing previous interim measures.

Vinay Modi, a high-ranking officer in the Himachal Pradesh Administrative Services, has officially assumed the role of permanent Member Secretary at the Himachal Pradesh State Scheduled Caste Commission, headquartered in Una.

During his inaugural address, Modi emphasized his unwavering commitment to implementing policies and schemes transparently and effectively, focusing on the upliftment and protection of Scheduled Castes' rights. The announcement came through a statement released on Saturday.

Previously, the additional charge of member secretary was held by Una Assistant Commissioner Varinder Sharma. Commission Chairman Kuldeep Kumar Dhiman expressed confidence that Modi’s permanent appointment would boost the commission's efficiency and lead to the expedited resolution of complaints from various districts.
