In a shocking instance of mob justice, two individuals were allegedly beaten to death in Jharkhand's East Singhbhum district on Friday night. The mob attacked after the men were reportedly caught stealing a goat in Jodsa village, under Chakulia police station jurisdiction.
According to Superintendent of Police (Rural) Risharbha Garg, the goat owner, along with a mob from the village, severely assaulted the men when they were apprehended. Tragically, one of the men collapsed immediately, and both succumbed to their injuries after being taken to MGM Hospital.
The police have arrested the goat owner and are actively pursuing other suspects involved in the incident to ensure justice is served. This incident highlights the dangers of mob justice, raising concerns about law enforcement and community intervention.
