Governor Oversees Rescue Efforts After Nagarkurnool Tunnel Collapse

Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Varma engaged in an urgent discussion with Nagarkurnool District Collector B Santhosh regarding the critical rescue operations following a tunnel collapse in the district.

The Raj Bhavan issued a communique detailing the Governor's briefing about the concerted rescue efforts. The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), and the Army are joined by experts to ensure the trapped victims’ safe return.

The Governor urged rescue teams to intensify their efforts, expediting operations to reclaim the eight individuals trapped for more than 30 hours inside the SLBC project's collapsed tunnel.
