PAS@15: A Milestone in Climate-Resilient Urban WASH

The Global South Academic Conclave on WASH and Climate held at CEPT University marked the launch of the PAS@15 report, highlighting 15 years of success in urban WASH performance assessment in India. The Global South Academic Conclave on WASH and Climate, hosted by CEPT University, showcased the launch of the PAS@15 report, underscoring a decade-and-a-half of achievements in urban WASH performance assessment in India.

Organized by the Center for Water and Sanitation (CWAS) with support from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the Viega Foundation, the conclave brought together experts to tackle water, sanitation, and hygiene challenges exacerbated by climate change.

Keynote speakers emphasized the importance of data-driven governance in climate-resilient urban planning, as cities face mounting climate uncertainties, highlighting the vital role of academia in informing policymaking.
