Tate Brothers Take Flight Amid Legal Turmoil
Andrew and Tristan Tate have left Romania for the United States under judicial control, amid an investigation into human trafficking. Despite being banned, a request to travel was approved. U.S. officials pressured Romania to lift restrictions on the Tates, who have denied any wrongdoing.
In a surprising development, internet personality Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan have departed Romania for the United States, as reported by news outlet G4media.ro. Sources from the airport confirmed their early Thursday departure on a private flight.
The Tates are under investigation in Romania for allegations of human trafficking but are currently subject to judicial control, a condition necessitating regular police check-ins. Despite their travel ban, Romanian prosecutors, earlier this month, reportedly agreed to their request to journey to the U.S.
Further complicating the matter, the Financial Times has disclosed that U.S. officials intervened, pressing the Romanian government to ease the travel constraints on Andrew and Tristan Tate, both former kickboxing champions with dual U.S. and British citizenship. The Tates have consistently denied any involvement in criminal activities.
