Shocking Incident: Party Altercation Leads to Ear Biting in Thane

A party in Thane turned violent when Vikas Menon allegedly bit off Shravan Leekha's ear during a dispute. Menon reportedly swallowed the ear part, resulting in Leekha's hospital visit. Police charged Menon under BNS section 117 (2) for voluntarily causing grievous hurt.

A shocking incident unfolded at a posh housing society in Thane's Patlipada area, where a party altercation turned violent, an official reported.

According to Kasarvadavali police, the incident occurred on Wednesday morning when an argument between Shravan Leekha and Vikas Menon escalated dramatically. Witnesses reported that Menon, 32, bit off and swallowed a part of Leekha's ear.

The victim, a 37-year-old resident of Thane, was promptly taken to a hospital after the attack. Menon has been charged under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita section 117 (2) for voluntarily causing grievous hurt, adding another incident to the list of disturbing party conflicts.
