Motorcycle Mechanic Arrested for Grisly Murder Over Marriage Proposal

A man was apprehended for allegedly beheading his girlfriend after she repeatedly urged him to marry her. Following the grim discovery of the woman's headless body, police investigations led to the arrest of the suspect, who confessed to the crime inspired by a movie scene.

In a shocking case, a man has been arrested for allegedly beheading his girlfriend when she insisted on marriage, police reported this Sunday.

The investigation unravelled after law enforcement discovered a decapitated body near Jagannathpur village. It was identified as a 26-year-old woman, initially living with her parents following her marriage, according to Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural) Durga Prasad Tiwari.

Police arrested Asif Raza, also known as Faizan, a 24-year-old motorcycle mechanic, after he confessed to murdering his girlfriend under pressure from her demands to wed. He reportedly drew inspiration from the Telugu film 'Salaar' for the gruesome act.
