Undercover Bust: Proclaimed Offender Anil Kumar Nabbed in Jalaun

Anil Kumar, a 36-year-old proclaimed offender, was captured by Delhi Police who posed as snack vendors in Uttar Pradesh. In a dramatic undercover operation, Delhi Police apprehended 36-year-old Anil Kumar, a notorious proclaimed offender, in Jalaun district, Uttar Pradesh.

Kumar, who was wanted on charges of abduction, rape, and human trafficking, had been evading authorities by changing identities and selling properties. Despite repeated issues of non-bailable warrants, Kumar remained elusive as he moved around Eastern Uttar Pradesh.

The breakthrough came when a head constable identified suspicious phone activity, leading police to set up a sting operation near a liquor shop, where officers posed as snack vendors. This allowed them to study Kumar's routines, culminating in his arrest. Upon interrogation, he confessed to his involvement in forcing a minor into prostitution and selling her in Bihar.
