In Jharkhand's Latehar district, a disturbing incident has taken place involving the alleged lynching of a labourer, Salim Khan. The police confirmed the arrest of four individuals in connection with the case on Monday.

Salim Khan, aged 40, originally from Datia district in Madhya Pradesh, was suspected of stealing goats. He was allegedly attacked by a group of villagers at Goa village under the Sadar Police Station limit in Latehar on Saturday night.

The accused, identified as Binokha Singh, Kamlesh Singh, Akhilesh Singh, and Amresh Singh, have been sent to jail as investigations continue. Khan, who had been working at a brick kiln for three months, was reportedly in the village to consume liquor when the accusations and subsequent violence occurred.
