Russia and U.S. Collaborate Amid Escalating Syrian Conflict

Russia is coordinating with the U.S. on the Syrian conflict amid rising violence, reports TASS. Clashes between Assad loyalists and Islamist rulers have killed over 1,000 people. Russia, formerly supporting Assad, is engaging in diplomacy with the U.S. to address the critical situation.

Amid intensifying violence in Syria, Russia is working closely with the United States to manage the crisis, as reported by the TASS news agency. Vassily Nebenzia, Russia's ambassador to the United Nations, confirmed this collaboration.

Recent reports indicate that violent clashes between supporters of former Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and the Islamist rulers of the country have resulted in more than 1,000 fatalities, primarily civilian, in Assad’s coastal stronghold. Moscow, a historical ally of Assad, now sees a dire need for international diplomatic efforts, having hosted Assad following his departure from Syria.

Speaking before a U.N. Security Council meeting, Nebenzia mentioned that Moscow is indeed cooperating with Washington regarding the ongoing developments in Syria. The Kremlin has expressed deep concern over the escalating situation, urging for immediate cessation of the conflict.
