Daring Daylight Heist: Jewellery Store in Bhojpur Robbed of Rs 25 Crore

In Bhojpur's Ara, six robbers executed a daylight heist, stealing jewellery worth Rs 25 crore from a renowned store. Police quickly apprehended two suspects after a gunfight, recovering some loot. Efforts continue to capture the remaining culprits and restore security in the area.

In a bold midday heist, a well-known jewellery store in Ara's bustling Gopali Chowk area fell victim to a meticulously planned robbery, authorities reported on Monday.

Six armed men stormed the premises, overpowering employees at gunpoint. The culprits managed to secure the shop by locking its shutter and holding the staff hostage for over 30 minutes.

The robbers escaped with Rs 25 crore worth of jewellery, an event now widely shared on social media after being captured on the store's CCTV.

Police swiftly responded, managing to arrest two of the perpetrators after a confrontation involving an exchange of fire.

Security measures have been tightened around town as the search continues for the remaining suspects. Superintendent of Police Raj assured the public that significant progress had been made, with around 70% of the stolen items already recovered.
