Delhi Police announced the arrest of Manish Malhotra, an alleged gang member charged with multiple criminal offences, including those under MCOCA. He had been evading arrest for five years before his capture.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) Satish Kumar revealed that Malhotra, a crucial operative in the Saddam Gauri-Salman Tyagi gang, was involved in activities terrorising local communities. His capture follows years of eluding authorities through frequent address changes and clandestine operations.

The arrest came after a raid at his Burari flat, where police, overcoming resistance, breached his premises by cutting through an iron grill. Accusations against Malhotra include threatening witnesses and engaging in abduction and assault.
