In a gesture of unity, Alwar district's Muslim Meo community leader, Sher Khan, announced a shift in Jumma Namaz timing to 2 PM instead of the usual 1:30 PM. The state's DGP, Utkal Ranjan Sahoo, emphasized the festivals' message of goodwill and harmony, assuring residents that the police are committed to ensuring safe celebrations.

Security scrutiny extends from urban centers to remote borders, with heightened vigilance at airports, bus stands, and railway stations.
