The ruling was delivered by Additional Sessions Judge Ashwani Kumar, who also mandated that the defendant pay a fine of Rs 1.50 lakh.

The incident, reported on September 24, 2021, involved the man using illicit photos to blackmail the victim, as per police records. Upon the father's complaint, Chandan was promptly arrested and charged, culminating in this week's verdict.
