Tragic Tale: Twins Murdered for a Son in Rajasthan

A tragic incident unfolded in Rajasthan's Sikar, where a father allegedly took the lives of his five-month-old twin daughters after violently slamming them on the floor, reportedly due to his desire for a son, according to police.
The accused, identified as Ashok Yadav, reportedly buried the bodies about 2 km from their home in Neem Ka Thana city. The police exhumed the bodies and apprehended Yadav, along with his family, following a report from the maternal uncle, Sunil Yadav.
Additional SP Roshan Meena stated that the family had long-standing disputes over the desire for a male child. The crime scene was sealed by law enforcement, and the incident is under investigation, with authorities conducting a postmortem of the deceased infants.
