The Chief Minister of Puducherry, N Rangasamy, commended the Indian Army's precision air strikes on terror hubs in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. The operation was a response to the brutal terrorist attack in Pahalgam that claimed 26 civilian lives on April 22.
Rangasamy applauded the operation, dubbed 'Operation Sindoor,' as a significant achievement and lauded both the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the military forces for their decisive action. He assured the territorial administration's support for the central government's ongoing efforts to combat terrorism.
Kiran Bedi, former Lt Governor of Puducherry, remarked that India has successfully targeted terror camps that foster and train terrorists in Pakistan, effectively striking at the terrorism industry from within. She appreciated the government for executing a focused and coordinated strike, highlighting the importance of diligent planning.
Meanwhile, A Kulothungan, Puducherry's District Collector, announced an upcoming mock exercise on civil defense near Lawspet airport to enhance readiness and preparedness.
