Stolen Scooter Saga: African National Caught Red-Handed

An African national named Effumbam Eric was apprehended for stealing a scooter from Delhi last year, police revealed on Thursday. The stolen vehicle has been recovered, leading to the registration of an FIR against Eric at sector 56 police station, according to law enforcement sources.

Eric, who resides in Delhi, was detained at a police checkpoint after being found with the stolen scooter. Authorities noted the vehicle bore a registration card under the name of Ram Pravesh from Delhi.

Upon interrogation, Eric confessed to lifting the scooter from the Kirti Nagar area in Delhi. Further investigations are currently underway, as confirmed by a senior police officer.
