Naresh Nikam, a 39-year-old Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) member, tragically passed away from a heart attack while on duty in Vadodara, Gujarat. Hailing from Maharashtra's Thane district, Nikam's untimely death was confirmed by officials on Friday.
The security force jawan, originally from the Ulhasnagar area, could not be revived despite efforts by medical personnel on the scene. He was subsequently declared dead, a police source revealed.
Nikam's body was returned to his hometown early Friday morning where he was cremated with full honors. The district administration ensured all formalities were conducted according to government and CISF procedures.
