In a symbolic gesture of solidarity with the Indian armed forces' 'Operation Sindoor', Bihar Minister Sunil Kumar planted a vermilion sapling in the Gopalganj district. The operation aims to dismantle terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
The planting took place at the famed Thawe Mandir, a historic temple dedicated to Goddess Durga, where Kumar sought the blessings of 'Thawe Wali Mata'. 'Today's planting symbolizes our unwavering support for our brave forces,' Kumar remarked.
During the event, Kumar emphasized the strength and unity showcased under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership. He pointed out the significance of the vermilion sapling, stating that its seeds are used to produce natural sindoor, further highlighting the cultural and patriotic elements of the gesture.
