Gujarat's Drone and Firecracker Ban Amidst Military Tensions

In response to escalating military tensions between India and Pakistan, the Gujarat government has announced a temporary ban on the use of drones and firecrackers, effective until May 15.

Gujarat's Minister of State for Home, Harsh Sanghavi, emphasized the strict enforcement of these restrictions and issued a stern warning to social media users against 'spreading anti-national sentiments.' Immediate action, including arrests, has been ordered against those violating these norms or posting sensitive information related to military movements.

The decision, reached during a high-level meeting chaired by Sanghavi, was attended by top police and intelligence officials. The state police have already taken action, lodging four FIRs on Friday against individuals for such offenses.
