In a significant escalation of tensions, Indian armed forces successfully intercepted an attempted violation by Pakistan across Indian airspace last night. This statement was made by Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri during a press conference on Friday.
Wing Commander Vyomika Singh detailed the breach, revealing that 300-400 drones were sent across 36 strategic locations from Leh to Sir Creek, with the objective of targeting Indian military installations. The quick response by the Indian military ensured their interception.
Misri further lamented the actions by the Pakistani side, which included targeting places of worship, noting this as a particularly disturbing act even by their standards.
