In a shocking incident, a 28-year-old mason was fatally shot near Mujahidpur canal road in Muzaffarnagar district, according to local police reports on Tuesday.
The victim, Gulsher, was traveling to Meerut on his motorcycle when unidentified assailants intercepted and opened fire at him. Senior Superintendent of Police Sanjay Kumar confirmed the incident.
A murder case has been launched against unknown individuals. Authorities are actively investigating to apprehend the culprits and bring them to justice.
