Tragedy in Kaushambi: Mother and Daughter Die After Consuming Poison

In a tragic incident in Pathranwa village, Kaushambi, a mother and her eight-year-old daughter died after reportedly consuming a poisonous substance, police confirmed on Thursday.
Soni Devi, 38, and her daughter Lakshmi were identified as the deceased by Circle Officer Satyendra Tiwari. The events unfolded following a late-night argument between Soni and her husband, who works in Kota, Rajasthan, and had recently visited home.
According to police, Soni Devi gave pesticide to Lakshmi before ingesting it herself. Her elder daughter, Kajal, alerted their grandmother, leading to the duo's hospitalization where they subsequently died. Authorities have sent their bodies for post-mortem and launched an investigation into the matter.
