In a heart-wrenching tragedy, two relatives of a former Maoist and a 13-year-old boy faced brutal deaths at the hands of Naxalites in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur district.
Jugnu Modiyam and Soma Modiyam, along with young Anil Madvi, were killed in Peddakorma village, where they were forcibly taken and strangled. Jugnu and Soma were connected to Dinesh Modiyam, a senior Maoist who had previously surrendered to the authorities.
The incident, underscoring the violent tactics of Maoist insurgents, has left villagers in fear and mourning. The police have pledged to bring the perpetrators to justice, while community leaders have expressed outrage over the heinous act.
