Tragic Plane Crash Mystery Resolved with DNA: The Heartbreaking Loss of Sarlaben and Aadhya

The suspense of a missing woman and her granddaughter ended after DNA tests confirmed their deaths in a tragic plane crash. The bodies of Sarlaben Thakor and her granddaughter, Aadhya, were returned to their family following the incident at the medical hostel complex in Meghaninagar.

The mystery surrounding the disappearance of a 52-year-old cook and her young granddaughter came to a tragic conclusion when DNA test results confirmed they were among the victims of the June 12 plane crash in Meghaninagar. The bodies of Sarlaben Thakor and two-year-old Aadhya were handed back to their family.

Sarlaben Thakor had been a cook at the medical hostel complex for 15 years, where she and her husband prepared meals for students. On the day of the crash, they left the mess to deliver food but returned to find the site engulfed in flames and Sarlaben and Aadhya missing.

After an anxious search and a missing persons report, DNA samples were matched a week post-tragedy, bringing closure to the grieving family. The disaster claimed 270 lives, including passengers, crew, and ground victims, after the Air India 787-8 Dreamliner crashed shortly after takeoff.
