Tragic Collision Claims Lives of Brothers on Sirsaganj-Karhal Road

A tragic accident on Sirsaganj-Karhal road in Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh, resulted in the death of two brothers and left their cousin critically injured after a head-on collision with a jeep. The incident prompted police to investigate and an FIR was filed against the unknown driver of the jeep.

A devastating road accident claimed the lives of two brothers in Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh. The incident occurred when a Bolero jeep collided head-on with their motorcycle on the Sirsaganj-Karhal road, police reported on Friday.

Inspector Maharaj Singh stated that Akash, 24, his younger brother Rahul, 18, and their cousin Laxmi, 20, were traveling to Karhal on Thursday evening when the tragedy happened near the Baghera bridge.

Upon collision, the victims suffered severe injuries. Akash was pronounced dead at Karhal hospital, while Rahul succumbed at Safai Hospital. Laxmi remains in critical condition. The driver of the jeep fled the scene, leaving the vehicle behind, and police have launched an investigation to track down those responsible.
