Former Maharashtra minister Dhananjay Munde has urged the formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate the Beed coaching class sexual harassment case. Speaking to the media, Munde highlighted alleged connections between one of the arrested individuals and NCP MLA Sandip Kshirsagar. However, Kshirsagar has refuted these claims.
The case involves two teachers from a Beed coaching centre who have been accused of molesting and sexually harassing a 17-year-old female student over the past year. Following the victim's complaint, the teachers were arrested and are currently in police custody.
Munde has met with the victim's family and stated that the accused had been in the company of Kshirsagar on the day the complaint was filed. He emphasized the need for a thorough investigation into these connections, alleging that the political protection offered to the accused has impacted many students.
