The conflict reportedly intensified when the Nihangs, visiting Hemkund Sahib, engaged in a heated argument with the businessman over moving a scooter. Tensions rose further, culminating in an attack on the businessman with swords, which he narrowly avoided.
The situation escalated when police arrived; the Nihangs attempted to flee but were apprehended. During the intervention, a police sub-inspector was injured by a sharp weapon. Arrests include Harpreet Singh, Amritpal Singh, and others, with cases filed under several Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita sections. Investigations are ongoing.
