Tragic Discovery: Body of Missing Young Man Found in Hathras Well

The body of 20-year-old Kunal Prajapati was discovered in a well situated in a field in Uttar Pradesh's Hathras on Tuesday morning, according to local law enforcement.

Kunal, a resident of Agra's Hariparvat area, went missing on June 27 after he left his home on a scooty, stating he'd return shortly. Concerned, his family conducted a search but were unsuccessful, prompting them to file a missing person's report.

A police probe, which included the detainment of several individuals, eventually led officers to Kunal's remains. Additional Superintendent of Police Ashok Kumar Singh confirmed that information from a detainee led to the tragic find.
