Negligence Leads to Tragic Electrocution: Farmer's Death Sparks Legal Action

An unfortunate incident in Gautam Buddh Nagar has prompted legal proceedings against local electricity department officials after a farmer died from electrocution. The incident took place in Daula Rajapur village on Tuesday.
According to Munendra Kumar Singh, the Inspector-in-Charge at Dankaur police station, a complaint was filed by a relative of the deceased, Kailash. Kailash reported that his uncle, Satish, suffered a fatal electric shock from a transformer installed without family consent near their field.
The police have initiated a case against several officials, including the Executive Engineer and Sub-Divisional Officer, under charges such as death due to negligence. Investigations are ongoing to determine the accountability of the involved parties.
